The hero of the film, Liu Zhixian, comes from Sezhuan. He arrived in Budapest in 1990 at the time of an influx of Chinese immigrants into Hungary. At the time, tens of thousands of Chinese came there in the hope of a better life and quick profits. Mr. Liu an older man who has seen hard times and suffered the humiliation of a bad marriage, now seeks love in Budapest. Though a university professor, he has to sell newspapers in Budapest, where he rents a small room and dreams about love. All his attempts to find a companion fail. However, Mr. Liu turns to an agency in China to find a wife. He also must meet his son, Yanghe, whom he hasn't seen in years. Liu is filled with remorse because of the son he left behind. The true story of a old Chinese professor's journey into his past and to present-day China.

Kosovo in the spring of 2000. Ruins and pain. Wounds that never heal, the hesitating gestures of a new beginning. A creative documentary in black and white, with the broken images of memory imprints in colour shot by the children themselves. Deca and fëmijët, they mean children in Serb and Albanian. Besarta, Violeta, Edmond and Valdrin, Miljana and Jelena are Albanian and Serb children, the film tells their story.
